London Orthopaedic is based in two locations, firstly in the
Harley Street district of London at the new modern London Clinic premises
at 116 Harley Street, secondly in North East Kent at the Sloane
Hospital in Beckenham for those patients who do not wish to travel into
Central London for their treatment.
London Orthopaedic is run by Mr John E Nixon, Consultant
Orthopaedic Surgeon with the assistance of Mary Elizabeth Parker
Personal Assistant and Practice Manager, Jackie Attwell Medicolegal
Practice Manager with the assistance of nurses, receptionists,
radiographers, physiotherapists, podiatrists, surgical fitters, osteopaths,
chiropractors, acupuncturists and homeopathists.
London Orthopaedic works closely with General Practioners in
both the National Health Service and Private Sector, Occupational Health
Physicians and a wide range of Specialists in other fields to ensure the
patient receives appropriate advice and treatment.
Patients are seen for second opinions and for reports for employers and for
legal purposes.
AIM OF THE WEBSITE
The aim of this website is to provide useful information to patients who may be experiencing painful symptoms, discomfort or loss of function in their joints or spine. It provides insight into some of the commoner causes of painful joints and what can be done to ease symptoms.
London Orthopaedic has been set up by Mr John E Nixon, Consultant Orthopaedic
Surgeon. After 34 years in Practice in the National
Health Service and 25 years in Private Practice as a
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Nixon is familiar
with the concerns of patients with orthopaedic
conditions and the questions most frequently asked.
